White House Drops Bombshell Gaza Peace Plan: War Ends If Both Sides Say Yes

White House Unveils 21-Point Gaza Ceasefire Blueprint

In a dramatic move aimed at ending one of the most devastating conflicts in recent history, the White House released a comprehensive 21-point peace proposal on Monday, September 29, 2025. Titled “New Gaza: A Path to Peace and Prosperity,” the plan promises an immediate end to hostilities—if both Israel and Hamas agree.

White House Gaza Peace Plan Announcement

Key Pillars of the Gaza Peace Proposal

  • Immediate Ceasefire: All military operations—including aerial and artillery strikes—halt upon mutual acceptance.
  • Hostage Release: All Israeli hostages (living and deceased) returned within 72 hours of Israel’s public agreement.
  • Prisoner Exchange: Israel releases 250 life-sentence prisoners + 1,700 Gazans detained post-Oct. 7, 2023.
  • Demilitarization: Hamas must decommission all weapons; tunnels and weapon facilities permanently destroyed.
  • New Governance: A technocratic, apolitical Palestinian committee takes over daily governance under international oversight.

International Oversight: The “Board of Peace”

Perhaps the most surprising element? The proposal names former U.S. President Donald J. Trump as chair of a new international body called the Board of Peace. Former UK Prime Minister Tony Blair is also slated to join.

Component Details
Humanitarian Aid Immediate entry per Jan. 19, 2025 agreement; includes water, electricity, hospitals, rubble removal
Security International Stabilization Force (I.S.F.) deploys; trains Palestinian police; secures borders with Egypt & Israel
Economic Revival “Trump Economic Development Plan” + special economic zone with tariff incentives
Political Horizon Palestinian self-determination possible after PA reforms and Gaza stabilization

Hamas’s Dilemma

The plan explicitly bars Hamas from any role in Gaza’s future governance—directly or indirectly. Members who renounce violence and surrender weapons receive amnesty; others may leave under safe passage.

If Hamas rejects or delays, the U.S. will implement aid and stabilization in “terror-free zones” already handed over by the IDF to the I.S.F.—effectively bypassing Hamas entirely.

What’s Next?

The U.S. is coordinating with Arab allies and international institutions to fast-track the I.S.F. deployment and humanitarian corridors. Israel has not yet issued a formal response, while Hamas remains silent as of Tuesday, September 30, 2025.
